IRELAND – Stationary – Aille Cross Country Jumping Ride

You will gallop across rolling hills divided by a latticework of stone walls and quiet country roads. Natural ditches and hedges found in the varied terrain of the Sleive Aughty Mountains and man made jumps at the Dartfield event course are yours to challenge. Your mount is the hardy and bold Irish hunter or Connemara pony. Your guides are seasoned cross country instructors. Both horse and obstacles will be assigned to you based on your jumping level. An experience of a lifetime!

Itinerary:

Day 1: Monday
You will transfer from the Shannon Airport. Afterwards, your riding ability will be assessed over the natural small obstacles which await you in the forest to Kilnadema.

Day 2 : Tuesday
You can either hunt with the famous Irish hunt, the Galway Blazers or ride to Knock Ash and jump the man made obstacles which surround Aille Cross.

Day 3: Wednesday
Whether you choose to have an easy day over novice jumps or desire to be challenged over advanced obstacles, both options await you at the Dartfield event course. 350 acres of rolling parkland dotted with eventing jumps await you. Lunch will be served at Dartfield where you can enjoy a museum dedicated to the Irish horse.

Day 4: Thursday
You can either hunt with the Galway Blazers or ride to Killnadema where your horse will carry you over natural obstacles and stone walls. After lunch, a hack through the forest will include invigorating gallops along the woodland tracts.

Day 5: Friday
Your choice – a relaxing hack across farmland or a return to Dartfield event course for more jumping

Day 6: Saturday
You can either hunt with the Galway Blazers or impress yourself with your added confidence and new learned jumping techniques as you jump across the course at Aille Cross.

Day 7: Sunday
Transfer to the airport
