Then your ride will ascend into the Victoria high country where wallaby, long footed potoroo, spot tail quol and giant burrowing frogs reside in the snow gum woodland, ancient ash forests and native grasslands. Your return to civilization will be marked by your attendance at the Melbourne Cup, which is dubbed “the horse race that stops the nation.”
